TheSr. R&D Balloon Catheter Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing multiple projects. This position requires a candidate with product development experience in the medical device arena specializing in PTA and PTCA catheters.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
• Be responsible for the technical development of catheter based products from concept through to completion.
• Manage multiple projects, budgets, and associated resources.
• Develop innovation solutions to optimize design and fabrication.
• Develop and qualify processes to produce and assemble catheters.
• Prepare, manage, and execute equipment installations, process qualifications and product validations.
• Identify and interact with vendors to obtain materials and equipment.
• Develop relationships with customers with a view to identifying and quantifying further opportunities.
• Maintain product files and other relevant documentation to comply with quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned
Key Requirements:
5+ year’s industry experience in a medical R&D product development environment. Experience in PTA/PTCA catheters
3D modelling and drafting experience using Solid Works.
Working knowledge of biocompatible metal and polymer materials
A BS in engineering, scientific degree, or equivalent
Must show proven capability to have excellent communication skills, motivation and be proactive

The Position
The Electrical Technician will provide electronic, electrical, and technical support of day-to-day operations by solving maintenance reliability issues, as well as leadership and training to the maintenance electricians. The Electrical Technician, reporting to the Engineering/Technical Manager will act as a Project Manager for electronic, electrical, and other technical projects, the Electrical Technician will be a direct resource for preventive and predictive maintenance efforts. He/she will manage electrical projects for the maintenance department, support shift maintenance teams in problem solving and troubleshooting efforts, and act as a resource for PLC, AC/DC variable speed drive, and electrical controls problem solving. The Electrical Technician will also ensures strict conformance to the electrical code and OSHA safety requirements for facility and production equipment, and provide strong support of departmental standards for safety, sanitation, and housekeeping, as well as supports the introduction of new technology.
Candidate Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training from a 4-year college or technical school, and 3 – 5 years of manufacturing experience. Additional qualifications include:
· Project Management experience
· Demonstrated problem-solving ability
· Working knowledge of mathematical concepts (probability, statistical inference, and geography)
· Ability to manage multiple priorities
· Computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet software, and presentation software
· Experience with Autocad/AutocadLT, Minitab, Microsoft Project Management, and Access Database are highly desired
· Ability to work flexible hours to support a 24/7 operation
Compensation

Responsible for the Food Security Policy/Program to assess potential food security risks and to ensure food security preventive measures are being implemented and routinely audited regarding the manufacturing, handling and storage of all food ingredients as well as finished goods. Responsibility for all corporate, customer and government audits to ensure compliance. Responsible for environmental compliance. Interact with other plant managers within Dean Foods to share best practices. Act as a liaison with Distribution, Sales and Customer Service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in helping to address customer inquiries, problems and concerns. Responsible for maintaining proper staffing levels, employee performance evaluations, discipline, and employee commendation. Responsible for the overall succession planning and development of plant management staff. For those facilities with a collective bargaining agreement, additional responsibilities will include assisting in contract negotiations, grievances and arbitrations and all aspects of contract management. Ensure compliance with all Dean Corporate policies and procedures.

Rhodia is currently hiring a Maintenance Chief Storekeeper for our facility located in Martinez, California.

Duties Include:
General Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall upkeep and inventory of plant storeroom. Includes use of SAP for receiving, issuing and inventory control of materials. Utilize SAP to locate materials and kit parts for work order.
Inspect all incoming material for accuracy of the order. Maintain a running inventory & flow of maintenance materials through the store room. Relocate & restock shelves & bins as directed. Maintain stock of warehouse & pipe rack stored materials. Deliver stock to various plant locations.
Basic purchasing functions, including purchase requisitions and ordering. Maintain good relationships with vendors.
Direct paperwork to proper locations throughout the plant. Conduct monthly cycle count of stores inventory. Keep the store room area clean & orderly. Order parts and make purchase requisitions through SAP.
Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E): Inspect safety items upon receipt & ensure they are the proper materials. Identify unsafe conditions & document by writing safety work orders. Report any unsafe condition or behavior to supervisor immediately. Match bill of materials to original order to ensure correctness of materials. Keep the store room clean & orderly, ensuring the aisles are open & free from tripping or slipping hazards. Ensure shelf stocking is appropriate to prevent objects from falling. Initial quality control for materials of construction on parts received. Assure there is an adequate supply of safety items to support plant activities by utilizing the stores inventory module of the SAP.

SUMMARY OF POSITION ROLE:
Works under supervision of the Quality Assurance Supervisor and the QA Inspector. Performs inspection functions of incoming packaging components and finished goods. Records inspection results data on department forms. Maintains QA department files.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SPECIFIC DUTIES:

utilizing specifications, art copy, assy. instructions, physical standards.
Evaluate product defects using documented accept/reject criteria to 10%

Compile data to generate Defective Material Reports (DMR) for 10%
non-conforming products, components, and finished goods.
