JOB DESCRIPTION:
Take projects from design through production, ensuring that projects stay within deadlines and timelines.
Ensure accurate development, production, and costing by creating and maintaining data and files for production matters, including but not limited to spec and technical packages.
Develop and execute implementation plans.
Provide weekly reports to managers/supervisors.
Assist with product development process in garments, apparel, and accessories, including management of pre-production samples and other items.
Track all samples from proto to final production.
Act as a liaison between key business units by coordinating and communicating daily with Designers, Buyers, Logistic, Fitting, Quality Control, and Vendors to ensure all production requirements are followed.
Track production T & A Calendar and ensure on-time delivery.
Ensure that Forever 21 standards of quality and cost control are maintained.
Report directly to Production Manager.
Act as a leader, role-model, and mentor to Production Assistants.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Fashion or Apparel or related field
2-3 years of related work experience
Excellent communication skills in English
Bilingual preferred (Chinese or Korean)
Strong project management, computer, and E-mail skills
Proactive problem problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Must be detail-oriented, thorough and organized
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment

GENERAL OBJECTIVES
The design consultant works closely with the customer in the design center/studio and at the customer’s home with a team to create individualized design solutions to sell Ethan Allen products and services. Contribute towards the development and on-going upkeep of the team’s design portfolio.
