Senior QA Engineer ~ Join a Highly Iterative and Agile Test Environment
As one of our Senior QA Engineers in Redwood City, California, reporting to our QA Manager and working in concert with the project Lead, your first mission will be coming up to speed with our primarily Java-based applications as well as our unique testing environment. You'll have high visibility in this role as you take on responsibility for the complete testing effort. Applying your knowledge of our job application architecture and your experience with software testing, that process begins by first meeting with pertinent stakeholders to analyze requirements and translating them into engineering language. It will be your charter to define test plans, determine which tests should be automated, build and execute the test plans, find test gaps and, ultimately, to present ideas for improving the overall product quality. Much of your work will involve automated test processes for cloud applications deployed by our Network Information Systems team.
